JUSTIN FULTZ
Lead Instructor and Roving Head Coach

justinf

Coach Fultz was born and raised in Harlingen, TX where he practically lived outside. When he wasn’t hunting on the King Ranch or fishing near South Padre Island, he was playing every sport available. His Grandfather, a coach for over 15 years, was his biggest inspiration and taught him that “the best leaders are those who know how to follow” and that “there will always be someone bigger, faster and stronger, but you can still be better through hard work.”

While following his passion for sports through college to the professional level, an injury opened the door to full-time coaching. With years of coaching experience already under his belt, Coach Fultz knew he found a home when he met a kindred spirit in Trent. TRPD’s focus of changing the culture and not accepting just what was available was exactly what he wanted to be apart of.

Coach Fultz and his wife Lindsey, have two wonderful children Kaden and Marshall Fultz. When not coaching, he stays current with anything related to college and pro sports and of course anything related to Texas A&M! WHOOP!

DYLAN KUNZ
Instructor and Head Coach

Dylan Kunz has been apart of TRPD since he was in high school, and made the transition from player to coach after graduation. He grew up in Austin, where he played baseball for Dripping Springs High School. In addition to baseball, Dylan also participated extensively in choir and theater.

He was going to take his talents to Incarnate Word, but instead decided to go to ACC to be able to save money before heading to college to graduate debt free. Although he definitely misses playing, he has enjoyed teaching players of all ages and skill levels what he learned in his playing days. Seeing players he coaches grow as athletes and players is what he loves to see, and hopes to one day see somebody he coached as a youth reach their dream of playing college baseball.

Noah Mader
Instructor and Head Coach

Born and raised in Austin, TX and have been around the game of baseball my entire life. After graduating from Vandegrift High School, I played collegiate baseball at the University of Massachusetts Boston (D3 NCAA) where I was able to obtain a degree in Business Management with a Marketing concentration and make an appearance at the 2019 NCAA D3 College World Series where we made a semi-final appearance. It will easily go down as one the best experiences I have ever had.

Since graduating, I have been fortunate enough to join TRPD in August of 2021 and it has been an absolute blast. Im excited for the future of TRPD and all the experiences these players are gonna have while we teach them the right way to play the game of baseball.

Brendan Emmerich
Instructor and Head Coach

Brendan Emmerich was born and raised in Pflugerville, Texas and he has spent most of his life playing baseball since the age of 4. He played with TRPD through his high school years and played at Pflugerville High School, where he graduated in 2017. He went to go play college baseball at Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he played catcher, first base, and DH. After 4 years of of school, Brendan graduated with a double major in sports management and marketing.

Following his graduation in 2021, Brendan moved back home and began coaching with TRPD and has become the catching instructor. Ever since joining the program, Brendan has found a new love for the game, where instead of playing, he can now pass down his knowledge of baseball, as well as life to all. “I know baseball has always been a huge part of my life and it made me who I am today, but it is so much more than just a game. It’s life lessons and values that the game teaches you really shapes you as the person you grow up to be. Not only that, is also has to do with who you surround yourself with when it comes to values and that is what we try to embody at TRPD through our kids, teammates, and coaches.”

TIM COONEN
Coach

Coach Tim has been with TRPD since 2018, and is currently serving as as assistant coach. He and his family moved to the Austin area from Wisconsin where he was born and raised. He is a huge Wisconsin sports fan, but baseball has always been his passion. Go Brewers!

Tim graduated from Kaukauna High School where he played varsity baseball as a junior and senior as well as playing American Legion baseball in the summers. After high school, he continued to play amateur baseball in the Dairyland League. When his playing days were over, Tim stayed in the game and coached local Little League teams.

Coach Tim’s favorite part of about coaching baseball are all of the life lessons the game teaches. Like how to succeed, how to fail, how to be part of a team, how to be a role model, how to have an exceptional work ethic, and how to prepare yourself for pressure situations to name a few.

Tim and his wife Rachel are active in their church and are constantly on the go with their three daughters, Amrynn, Harlow and Henley.
